Mustangers Give Thanks!

What better way to spend the days before Thanksgiving than with your Mustang family? More than 2,700 Mustangers and family members gathered at Houston Farm and Ranch on November 25th, for a delicious lunch of BBQ chicken, brisket, baked beans, and potato salad. Tom Turkey was joined by two of his pilgrim friends greeting Mustangers as they walked through the doors. They were also available for pictures and of course, hugs! This year, a 25-foot inflatable turkey was on hand to bring the Thanksgiving spirit to all in attendance. A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers who made the event run as smoothly as ever and to Kristy Evenson for coordinating such a great day! Happy Thanksgiving!

Mustangers in other locations also celebrated with feasts of their own. In La Porte, barbecue was also the order of the day and, in Victoria, dinner at a local restaurant provided a suitable celebration. Between the two locations, more than 160 Mustangers and families gathered together to give thanks.
