After students at Watkins Middle School asked their teachers how they could help show pride for their school, a few of the teaching faculty approached Mustang to help them in a "Beautification Day" for the exterior of the school. This effort was eagerly coordinated by the Environmental Focus Group at Mustang. Several Mustangers, Watkins Faculty, and students worked for five hours to give Watkins the spring makeover the students had wanted. The team made many improvements, including weeding, grass and flower planting, trimming, and general clean-up.
