Young Guns from Houston partnered with Mustang’s Founders’ Legacy school – Watkins Middle School – for a fun and educational engineering day. The students were given two challenges – design and build a jacket structure with only straws and tape, and transporting “radioactive” ping-pong balls without touching them. They worked in teams of five and were challenged to use their knowledge, imagination, teamwork, and the Young Gun volunteers to complete the task as best they could.
