Mustangers gathered together to shake their booties in support of the Frontyard Youth Services of Melbourne Citymission. The Sunday afternoon gathering saw more than 100 Mustangers and family members enjoying the music of Basement Live, who played for free. This great afternoon of family fun helped to raise $1,000 for the Frontyard Youth Services of Melbourne Citymission. The organization helps homeless young people on the street rehabilitate back into society. This event provided funding for the organization’s Surf Day – an activity designed to help build self confidence, positive interaction with others, and a break from the tension of inner city living. Melbourne Citymission’s battle cry is “Hand Up not Hand out” and Mustangers helped provide a “hand up” for many struggling young adults.
