Mustang has extensive experience implementing with Wood Group’s patented process for converting liquefied natural gas into natural gas. This environmentally friendly and fuel-efficient technology is marketed as the Wood Group LNG Smart® Air Vaporization (SAV) process. SAV uses a closed loop intermediate fluid circulating through fin-fan heat exchangers to extract heat from ambient air to vaporize LNG from its cryogenic state to pipeline temperatures for send out.

The SAV technology lends itself to a multitude of offshore regasification, storage and offloading vessel configurations. Whether it’s the conversion of an existing LNG carrier or a new build, Mustang can design vaporization equipment up to 1300 mmscfd with vessel storage capacities to 200,000 m³.
