With core competencies in engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC), Sime Darby Engineering operates a combined yard space of 298 acres – one of the largest fabrication yards in the region, with an annual production capacity of 140,000MT per annum.

Mustang Sime Darby will initially focus on upstream projects, and as the company grows, will expand its market reach and serve major Malaysian and regional clients in the upstream onshore/offshore, midstream, refining and petrochemical markets.

A number of key positions are staffed from within Mustang operations and additional design and project management and support staffing will be hired locally to achieve the company’s growth targets and anticipated work load.

Gary Wilkes serves as the Managing Director of Mustang Sime Darby. Prior to moving to Malaysia, Gary was a project manager in Mustang’s upstream business unit, managing large capital offshore and onshore facilities for major operators.

Aminuddin Yusoff serves as Deputy Managing Director. Aminuddin brings considerable experience from running Sime Darby’s existing engineering operations. Mustang Sime Darby is located on level 7 of The Icon building, in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s financial and commercial district and within walking distance of the iconic Petronas Towers. The company is 60% owned by Mustang and 40% owned by Sime Darby Energy & Utilities.
