I never thought of a career in the Oil Industry until I participated in an internship with Mustang the summer before I graduated. The experiences I had during that short time convinced me that this was the company for me. The most important decision I have made in my life so far, has turned out to be a great one. The people oriented culture and teamwork mentality is genuine and bonds you with co-workers in and out of work. Mustang has a broad variety of knowledgeable people who will always find time to teach anyone who is willing to learn. There is everyone from new engineers with and without offshore knowledge to more experienced engineers who have come out of retirement to help with the workload. Everyone here loves what they’re doing. In less than a year out of school, I have been given a wide variety of opportunities such as specify mechanical equipment, developing piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and interfacing with vendors.
