HOUSTON, January 27, 2011 – Mustang, a Wood Group company, has named Michele McNichol as president of Mustang’s Upstream operations.  McNichol has oversight of worldwide upstream operations with offices in London, Houston, Abu Dhabi, Mumbai, Saudi Arabia, Angola, Aberdeen and Kuala Lumpur.  Michele most recently served as Upstream Regional Director – Americas, where she was responsible for upstream operations and project execution in the United States, Canada and South America.  Prior to that, Michele served as Project Manager for the Thunder Horse topsides design, the world’s largest semi-submersible.  Michele holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.  She will report to Executive Vice President A.J. Cortez.

Eric Wensel has been named to succeed Michele as Upstream Regional Director – Americas.  Eric served as engineering manager in Mustang’s London office and led the integration and development efforts to build an engineering base to serve clients in Europe, North Africa and Middle East. He most recently served as Project Manager for the Ekofisk North Sea facility design.  Eric holds a degree in Mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University.  He will report to Upstream President Michele McNichol.
