Mustang honored for technical expertise, business skills and customer satisfaction
HOUSTON, January 5, 2010 – Mustang has been named Control Engineering magazine’s 2010 System Integrator of the Year in the more than $50 million annual revenue category. The competition recognizes the system integration companies that demonstrate a high level of technical expertise, business skills and customer satisfaction.
Mustang’s Automation and Control business unit is a leading provider of engineering, integration and implementation services for automation, control, and information systems to the upstream oil and gas, refining, chemical, and process industries.
After reviewing Mustang’s submission, Shari Worthington, president of Telesian Technology and a judge in this year’s competition, was impressed with Mustang’s global presence and faith-based values.
"Mustang’s Automation & Control business unit seems to be the best all-around system integrator in this year’s lineup. Its process control experience, vendor independence, and success with projects large and small put it ahead of the competition,” said Renee Robbins, senior editor for Control Engineering. “Mustang extensively tracks customer satisfaction and creates detailed scorecards defining success, and creating a culture of continuous improvement. Ninety percent of its clients say they would use Mustang again, and testimonials from named customers bear that out."
“We are very proud to receive this prestigious industry award,” said Don Colchin, president of Mustang’s Automation and Control business unit. “To have been a finalist for the award for the past two years was an honour, but to win this year is a testament to our proven project methodologies, strong relationships with our customers, and the depth of our service.”
