Pipeline Projects
  • Freeport LNG

Front end engineering design (FEED), detailed engineering, shop inspections, procurement services and construction management on a 9.6 mile, 42 inch LNG pipeline on the Texas Gulf Coast. The project entails four horizontal directional drills (HDD) through a variety of difficult terrain. The project involves a record directional drill for 42 inch pipe, more than 5000 feet under swamp land.

  • Enstor Houston Hub Gas Storage and Transportation

The Houston Hub Gas Storage and Transportation project will be a high deliverability natural gas storage facility designed for injection, storage and withdrawal of natural gas in salt caverns to be created in the North Dayton Salt Dome located in Liberty County, Texas. The Houston Hub facilities will provide a nominal 1 BCFD of withdrawal and 600 MMSCFD of injection capacity with the capability for six turns per year with the initial 16 BCF working gas capacity expandable to 30 BCF working gas.

Installed gas compression will total some 32,000 HP with a combination of low emission engine drives and electric drives providing injection pressures to 3000 psig. Facilities include compression, dehydration, metering and pressure control, methanol injection, noise abatement, ground flare, dual 24” transportation pipeline to two customers, and ANSI 1500 30” facility to gas storage pipeline.

Project includes solution mining facilities and pipelines with capacity of 4000 GPM, installed pump horsepower of some 12,000 HP. Facilities include fresh water wells, brine disposal wells, pump station, filtration, tankage, and dome well safety and fire suppression.

Power to the site will be provided by a new 138 KV overhead transmission line, substations, and on site 24 KV distribution lines.

  • Enterprise Products Company - South Texas Expansion NGL Project

Fully integrate some 200 miles of acquired pipeline through interconnects, extensions, modification of facilities, pump stations and commissioning to facilitate planned conversion of the South Texas pipeline to ethane service. Simultaneously, modify existing facilities originally in ethane service, to accommodate propane service. While involving numerous facilities from Corpus Christi to Mt. Belvieu, the project team successfully executed a simultaneous product switch over without a misstep.

  • Kinder Morgan

Detailed Engineering Design, Construction & Project Management, Inspection, Right-of-Way, Drafting Services for 500 mile 30"- 42" high pressure natural gas Pipeline running from Southeast Oklahoma, across Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi into Alabama.
